When you visit the website, the hosting provider processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, amount of data transferred, referrer, browser type, and operating system. The purpose is to provide, stabilize and secure the website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure, trouble-free operation). Server log data is regularly deleted or anonymized after 30 days at the latest.

During onboarding and when making a reservation, we process the data you provide: name, email address, desired device name and configuration, and your answers regarding usage habits (e.g. workload and hourly rate). The purpose is to process your reservation, perform the contract, and tailor the presentation of the offer to you. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract or pre-contractual measures) as well as Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for internal evaluation of interest. Upon conclusion of a contract, commercial and tax law retention periods additionally apply (up to 10 years, Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Information you provide solely during onboarding without completing a reservation is stored in your device's browser (local storage) so you can resume the process. You may delete this data at any time via your browser settings.

We use external payment service providers for payments. When you select a payment method, the data required for processing (including name, email, payment details, amount) is transmitted to the respective provider, who processes it as an independent controller. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. We do not receive complete payment data (e.g. card numbers).

If you contact us by email, phone, or via the contact form — for example to cancel a reservation — we process the information provided to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related inquiries, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Inquiries are deleted once they have been fully processed and no retention obligations apply.

The contact form on this website creates a pre-filled email in your email program; the message is only sent once you submit it via your own email provider.

We do not use cookies for analytics, profiling, or advertising purposes. There is no cross-website tracking. Technically necessary browser storage (local storage for your onboarding progress) is used on the basis of § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG, as it is required for the function you expressly requested.

We work with service providers for hosting, email, and payment processing. Where these process personal data on our behalf, agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR are in place. If data is transferred to a third country, this is done on the basis of an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR together with additional safeguards.

You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and the right to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21). You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; the authority responsible for us is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin.

Providing your data is not required by law. However, name and email address are required to complete a reservation or contract; without this information we cannot process your reservation.

You are solely responsible for processing recordings you create with your Holodrone. You are the data controller under data protection law for these recordings, unless the processing is exclusively for personal or household activities (Art. 2(2)(c) GDPR). Please respect the rights of any individuals depicted.
